You can see the stock photo from Vance and Hines as well as the pipes on my bike. Unfortunately, the ceramic coating did not reduce the heat as much as we had hoped.
Due to the left side going up over the primary as shown in the picture with the finger pointing to it, I was unable to put my left leg down once the pipe got hot. The imperfections on it are from the clamps. No issues on any of the chrome heat shields or exhaust pipes. You can see the ceramic coated pipe in the picture it has been seasoned per instructions from Carolina ceramic coating company in Raleigh, nc.
I am a female rider at 5'3. We took the header pipe off the left side and had it ceramic coated on the inside and outside hoping this would help.
We bought the pipes new and had them installed by Harley service department.
