Pros of buying a KZ1300 header solid exhaust:1. Enhanced Performance: A solid exhaust system like the KZ1300 header can improve the bike's engine performance by reducing backpressure and allowing for better exhaust gas flow. This can lead to increased horsepower and torque.
2. Improved Sound: Solid exhaust pipes often produce a more pleasing sound than stock or aftermarket systems with baffles. The sound can be louder and more aggressive, which some riders enjoy.
3. Aesthetic Appeal: A solid exhaust system can give your Kawasaki KZ1300 a more customized and high-performance look.
Cons of buying a KZ1300 header solid exhaust:1. Cost: Solid exhaust systems can be expensive, especially if you're purchasing a high-quality aftermarket option. The cost can include the exhaust pipe itself, as well as any necessary modifications to the bike to install it.
2. Noise Levels: Solid exhaust systems can be louder than stock or baffled aftermarket systems. This can be a pro or a con depending on your preferences and local noise regulations.
3. Maintenance: Solid exhaust systems can be more prone to rust and corrosion than baffled or stainless steel systems. Regular maintenance, such as cleaning and protecting the exhaust with a rust-resistant coating, may be necessary to keep it in good condition.
Conclusion:If you're looking for improved performance and a more aggressive sound from your Kawasaki KZ1300, a solid exhaust system like the KZ1300 header may be a worthwhile investment. However, it's important to consider the cost and potential noise levels, as well as the maintenance required to keep the exhaust in good condition.
Recommendation:If you decide to purchase a solid exhaust system for your Kawasaki KZ1300, we recommend doing your research to find a reputable supplier and choosing a high-quality aftermarket option to ensure durability and performance. Additionally, we recommend consulting with a professional mechanic to ensure proper installation and ensure that any necessary modifications to the bike are made safely and effectively.
Not sure if they'd fit the zn1300. No hardware or anything extra included, just what's in the pictures. I think these were off of a 1979, maybe a 1983, but should fit all of the early model's.
Usual rust under the rear top bend, only surface rust not serious. I was going to make a custom exhaust but that never happened and the bike is long gone.
The resonators muffler ends have been cut off the collectors. Shipping might be pricey as it weighs 16 pounds. The collectors are very solid as well but covered in surface rust with pitting but nothing through or that would need repair.
No scrapes, dents, or accident damage.
