Needless to say, I felt sorry for the poor old piece and took it as well. It turned out to be the most expensive of my pieces done by far. My 28 year old shields hang on the side of a house kept bike and have coat metal gloss sealer polish them when i'm not riding.

No pitting, it just looked actually gray instead of chrome. The original cover never had plating like this.

Looking for associated parts to this shield. I've got a nos forward header heat shield, top exhaust pipe and muffler, hanger bracket more available. They still look like new so i'm giving this one up for adoption.

The shield really does look like new, no, better than new. And it comes with new permanently pretty, custom made, polished stainless steel mounting screws, backing washers heat absorption. I have a large assortment of polished stainless steel hardware available, feel free to ask. A complete set of stainless mounting hardware for all 3 heat shields is available nominal cost.

The chrome work is superb. Please feel free to ask.

I thought that was expensive.

Free domestic shipping with purchase. To put it into perspective, I had my top and bottom shields triple nickel chrome plated 28 years ago for 68 each. Those thoughts disappear once you see prettier than new chrome shields.
